I found this a couple years ago and I think I've left a message before but I've tried several recipes and this is still the best!! I find it gets the best flavor if you let it sit for 48 hours instead of 24. Maybe even add literally a pinch of pink seat salt.

Suggestion: use a stick blender to make the recipe from scratch. The blender will work, but it is tedious. A stick blender will cut your time to a tenth.

Huge out of nowhere storm (tornado touched down a couple miles from our home kinda storm) we were using the gas grill to cook steaks when the power went out.....By candlelight and cellphone service we quickly found this recipe and managed to make the most awesome Faux Hibachi dinner ever! Thanks!

Fantastic! Went to Kobe on our anniversary after at least 20 years since the last visit and was reacquainted with this sauce. I am excited to try it at home and save $$$$ on my next Hibachi Excursion!
